I’ve been working with computers since I was a kid in Milinocket, Maine — long before “cloud hosting” was a buzzword, and long before most people had any idea what a server actually was.

I started at around 9 years old, breaking into old systems, building PCs, and trying to understand how everything connected. That curiosity never stopped. It just scaled into infrastructure, Linux servers, and real-world systems that run businesses.

Over the years, I’ve worked with hosting companies (including Australian providers), managed Linux VPS environments, handled migrations, and moved systems that quietly represented millions in infrastructure and uptime responsibility.

I’ve been inside everything from small business shared hosting accounts to full VPS fleets, cpanel setups, broken PHP environments, and database systems that absolutely refused to behave.

At one point, I managed large community platforms — including a high-traffic PHPBB forum centered around hip hop culture — where uptime, moderation, and stability mattered constantly.

I’ve learned Linux not from classrooms, but from people who were already deep in it — engineers, sysadmins, and a few friends who taught me how systems actually behave when they break in production.

I’ve worked across stacks like: Linux (Debian/Ubuntu), Apache/Nginx, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, DNS systems, email routing, SSL layers, and VPS environments that power real-world applications.

Somewhere along the way, I became the person people called when something was already broken — not the person selling theory, but the one fixing the actual failure.

I’ve dealt with systems where passwords, access, migrations, and recovery weren’t just technical details — they were the difference between downtime and survival. (And yes, over time you end up holding access to a lot of systems when you’re the one fixing them — that’s just how infrastructure work goes.)

What I do now

QKIN exists for one reason: when your server breaks, your site goes down, or your hosting stops making sense — you need someone who can actually figure it out.

I don’t oversell hosting. I don’t push unnecessary upgrades. I fix what’s broken, explain what happened, and get systems stable again.

How I work

If something is broken, I’ll look at it and tell you exactly what’s wrong in plain language. If it’s fixable, I’ll fix it. If it needs migration, I’ll handle it cleanly. If you just need advice, I’ll point you in the right direction.

No contracts. No confusion. Just direct technical support from someone who has spent years inside real systems — not tutorials.
